Broadcasting Club Supports Hurricane Relief

Thank you to everyone who helped collect spare change for Music for Relief.  With your help, the Broadcasting Club is sending a $100 donation!

About Music for Relief and Hurricane Sandy:  After Hurricane Sandy took the lives of 71 people in the Caribbean including Haiti, it made landfall in the northeast of the United States killing another 96 people and leaving more than 8 million without power. To date Sandy has impacted more than 60 million people. Extensive damage to homes and businesses has been reported, following one of the largest storms to ever hit the US. Music for Relief is raising funds for the recovery effort in partnership with International Medical Corps in Haiti, and Save The Children in the US.

Music For Relief is a charity founded by the band Linkin Park. The goal is to provide relief to victims of natural disasters and to bring awareness to global warming.

A big thanks to Sara Hill for organizing this.
