Graduation Petitions for Fall 2012 are due October 22
nd
to the Registrar’s Office.
These forms
may be picked up in the Dean’s Office, located in the Robinson Classroom
Building, room 224.
Students should have their Graduation Petitions to the Dean’s Office no
later than Wednesday, October 17th. After the Dean has approved the petition,
students must make several other stops before returning it to the Registrar’s
Office by Monday, October 22
nd. All students must complete a
Graduation Petition to receive their degree, even if they do not plan on
participating in the graduation ceremony.
Students do not
automatically receive their degree; they must petition first. Obtaining an Associate in Arts or Associate
in Science degree is beneficial when transferring to a UNC institution because
Associate in Arts or Science degree holders do not have to meet the receiving
institution’s general education requirements.
