Gaston College’s Broadcasting and Production Technology
Program’s annual Student Media Festival will be held Thursday, May 2 from
11:00am to 1:00pm in the Craig Building room 120 on the Dallas Campus.
The festival will feature presentation of student-produced audio and video projects from this academic year.

Cash awards and Certificates of Achievement will be
presented to the most exceptional projects, as determined by the BPT
faculty. Categories for media project
awards include, Best Video Program, Best Videography, Best Video Editing, Best
Radio Program, Best Short Audio Production, Best Music Recording/Mix, and Best Video Crew Member.
The prestigious “Most Helpful Student” cash award and
certificate will be presented to the student who has done outstanding work assisting BPT faculty and students, and consistently
demonstrated an inspiring attitude, support, and passion for BPT program over the
past year.
Submit projects for the festival to Mr. Maier by Friday, April 26 at 3:00 pm.
Pizza and sodas will be served. Tours and demonstrations of the BPT
television, recording studios and digital editing labs will be given. Students, faculty, staff, and the general
public are invited. For more
